Trauma-Informed

Trauma-informed therapy is a framework that acknowledges the pervasive impact of trauma on individuals' lives. It emphasizes creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and respected. This approach integrates an understanding of trauma's effects on the mind and body, aiming to empower clients in their healing journey through compassionate, evidence-based practices.

Somatic Attachment Therapy

Somatic attachment therapy is co-regulation, where the therapist and client work together to regulate the client’s nervous system, repairing and rebuilding attachment. This involves exploring and understanding past attachment wounds and working towards healing these through corrective emotional experiences in therapy.

Nervous System Reset

Nervous system reset refers to techniques or practices aimed at regulating and rebalancing the autonomic nervous system. These methods often involve mindful breathing exercises, movement, and techniques from somatic experiencing. The goal is to reduce stress, calm the body's fight-or-flight response, enhance resilience to stress, and support overall well-being .

12 Week Course

A 12-week virtual course on somatic attachment focuses on guiding participants through understanding and healing attachment issues using both somatic and psychological approaches. This course offers structured sessions aimed at exploring early attachment experiences, processing emotional wounds stored in the body, and learning practical techniques to develop a more secure attachment style. Participants engage in interactive learning, and personalized exercises to promote healing, resilience, and healthier relationship patterns.

Groups

Offering therapy group services involves bringing together individuals who share similar challenges or issues in a supportive, confidential setting. These groups provide a space for participants to connect, share experiences, and receive validation and empathy from others facing similar struggles. Facilitated by a trained therapist, group therapy fosters mutual support, encourages interpersonal growth, and offers opportunities for learning and practicing new coping strategies and relational skills.
